Insurance and Payment Options

At Marineau Eye Care, we understand that managing your vision care expenses is essential. We strive to make the process as seamless as possible by accepting a variety of insurance plans and offering flexible payment options.

Accepted Insurance Plans

We are proud to work with a wide range of insurance providers. If you don’t see your insurance carrier listed on our website, or if you are unsure about your coverage, don’t hesitate to contact us.

It’s important to understand the difference between medical and vision insurance plans. Vision insurance will cover routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses. These plans are designed to help you maintain good vision and address common eye problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.

On the other hand, major medical insurance plans cover treatment for more complex eye conditions or diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. (This is not an exhaustive list, but just examples of some of the eye conditions covered by medical insurance.) To manage these conditions, your medical insurance will cover medical exams, office visits, diagnostic testing and certain procedures. Before your appointment, we recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your specific benefits. Our team can assist you in verifying your coverage and answering any questions you may have regarding your insurance plan.
